Development Of Oil And Gas Fields

The Future Growth Project/Wellhead Pressure Management Project (FGP/WPMP) will increase production by 12 Mtpa and bring the total production capacity of the Tengiz field to 39 Mtpa.
To implement this project, a joint venture “KPJV” was established as part of the ENGINEERING COMPANY “KAZGIPRONEFTETRANS” LLP, the Kazakh Institute of Oil and Gas JSC, WorleyParsons and Fluor. This partnership was a new milestone in the development of domestic engineering, defining the best form of cooperation between local and foreign companies, allowing the transfer of world experience and the establishment of parity relations. Within the framework of KPJV, the project involves about 400 highly qualified employees of SUMATEC OIL & GAS TOO working at locations: Almaty, Atyrau, Tengiz field, Farnborough (UK) and the Republic of South Korea.
